Job Description:
The Associate Teacher supports the Site Supervisor and/or Teacher in implementing the program in compliance with Head Start Performance Standards, State Preschool Guidelines, and California Title 22 and Title 5 regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Job Description:
The Substitute Infant Care Teacher is responsible for assisting the Site Supervisor in the administration of an infant and toddler program in conformance with the Head Start Performance Standards, Title 22 and Title 5 of the California Administrative Code as applicable.

Job Description:
The Transportation School Bus Driver supports the Transportation unit by safely transporting children along assigned routes, ensuring a secure, positive environment on every ride. You will communicate with families and staff, complete required documentation, and uphold all transportation regulations. This role also provides occasional operational and IT support, contributing to the overall excellence and readiness of our transportation program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works as a professional school bus driver to ensure the safe transportation of children, staff, and families.
- Operate school buses and agency vehicles in compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory requirements.
- Install and ensure proper use of age, weight, and height appropriate child safety restraint systems in compliance with FMVSS, CFR, and HSPPS standards.
- Complete and submit required transportation documentation, records, reports, work orders, and receipts within established timelines.
- Maintain accurate electronic and hard-copy bus routes and communicate route changes to families, staff, and the Transportation Coordinator.
- Report incidents, complaints, accidents, and safety concerns promptly.
- Conduct required emergency evacuation drills to ensure preparedness and compliance.

- At least 2–3 years of experience as a licensed California school bus driver.
- Understanding of state and federal transportation laws, including the California Motor Vehicle Code and Education Code.
- Knowledge of school bus safety procedures, accident protocols, and compliance documentation.
- Experience with route planning, dispatch coordination, and scheduling.
- Skills to resolve complaints and communicate with families and staff.
- Ability to coordinate with agencies like the Highway Patrol or Department of Education regarding incidents and certification.

Job Description:
The Substitute Kitchen Service Technician supports the Central Kitchen by assisting with meal prep, delivering fresh meals to centers, and keeping equipment clean and safe. Your support ensures smooth operations and high-quality food service for the entire agency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists in preparing, portioning, and distributing large quantities of food, including cutting, trimming, chopping, slicing, and opening bulk containers of ingredients.
- Maintains a clean, safe, and welcoming kitchen by operating and cleaning the dish machine, washing dishes, sanitizing all equipment and surfaces, removing trash, performing scheduled deep cleaning, and using proper cleaning chemicals in accordance with sanitation standards.
- Monitors and documents hot and cold food temperatures, taking corrective action to ensure safe and sanitary meal service.
- Performs and documents daily pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and drives agency vehicles on established routes to deliver and pick up food at designated sites.
