Are you eligible?

Families receiving CalWORKs, CalFresh, and/or SSI are categorically eligible for Head Start Preschool/Early Head Start programs.

My family’s income is at or below the federal poverty guideline

and/or

My family receives (one or more):

  • CalWORKs (TANF)
  • CalFresh (SNAP)
  • SSI
  • Foster Subsidy

and/or

My family:

  • is McKinney Vento eligible
  • Lacks regular nighttime housing

or

My family has excessive housing costs

Note: 10% of families served can be over income
