Home Visitor

I arrived in this country more than 2 decades ago. I did not speak English. I worked hard and learned about this land of opportunity we live in. Almost ten years ago, I went back to school and earned a degree in Early Childhood Education. I have been working for KidZCommunity since. I am part of the Home Visiting Program. I love what I do. I make a difference in so many families’ lives. I help them understand this country and offer guidance in how to receive all the services that are available to them including health care, dental care, mental health and much more. Also, I teach parenting skills and even take field trips with my families. To name a few, we have been to nature centers and College campuses, especially if a parent is interested in going back to school. I believe that children will do what they see their parents do. Both my children are in College at William Jessup and UC Berkeley. I know that seeing me going back to College influenced them to do their best. Just as I improved my life years ago, I now help parents go back to school, improve their lives and the lives of their children.

Happy Parents, Happy Children
